Services // AWS Cloud Consulting
AWS Cloud Consultant for teams that can't afford a bad night.
I work as an independent AWS cloud consultant out of Delhi NCR, helping engineering teams fix the architecture problems that only show up under real load single points of failure, deploys that need a maintenance window, disaster recovery plans that exist on paper but have never actually been tested.
Some clients bring me in for a two-day audit. Others keep me on retainer through a full migration. Either way, you get a written plan before any AWS console gets touched.
Start with a discovery call →What I actually do
Not a services menu. This is where the work actually concentrates.
High Availability Architecture
Multi-AZ and multi-region setups designed so that losing a server, a zone, or even a full region doesn't take your product down with it. This is the work I get hired for most it's also the work most teams underinvest in until after their first real outage.
Disaster Recovery Planning
RPO/RTO targets that are actually tested, not just written in a doc nobody reads. Automated failover with Route 53 health checks, cross-region replication that doesn't silently fall behind, and a runbook your team can follow at 2 AM without calling me.
Zero-Downtime Deployments
Blue-green and canary pipelines so shipping code stops being a stressful event. If your team still schedules a "maintenance window" for deploys, this is usually the fastest win I can get you.
AWS Cost & Architecture Review
Right-sizing instances, fixing over-provisioned RDS, catching the NAT gateway bill nobody noticed. Most audits pay for themselves in the first month of savings alone.
How people usually work with me
Three shapes, no fixed-price catalog
AWS Architecture Audit
A focused review of your current AWS setup cost, security posture, single points of failure, and what breaks first under load. You get a written report and a prioritized list, not a sales pitch for more consulting hours.
Migration or Rebuild
Moving off a single EC2 instance, out of a data center, or off another cloud entirely. Scoped, time-boxed, with a rollback plan that actually gets tested before go-live.
Ongoing Cloud Consulting
For teams that need AWS expertise on tap but don't need (or can't yet justify) a full-time hire. A few hours a week, architecture reviews before big launches, on-call for the scary deploys.
How an engagement actually starts
Four steps, nothing hidden
Discovery call
Thirty minutes, no deck. I want to know what's actually breaking or worrying you, not just the AWS services you're using.
Architecture review
I go through your account IAM, network, data layer, deploy process and flag what's fragile before we touch anything.
Proposal & scope
A short written plan: what changes, in what order, and roughly what it costs. No open-ended retainers unless you want one.
Build & handover
I implement in a staging environment first wherever possible, document everything, and make sure your team can maintain it without me.
Questions people actually ask
Before the discovery call
What does an AWS cloud consultant actually do?
Depends on the client, honestly. Sometimes it's a two-day audit that tells you where your architecture will break first. Sometimes it's three months rebuilding a deployment pipeline so releases stop being a fire drill. The common thread is that you're paying for judgment on decisions that are expensive to get wrong not for someone to click around the AWS console for you.
How much does AWS cloud consulting cost in India?
I don't work off a fixed rate card because a one-week audit and a three-month HA rebuild aren't the same job. Audits are usually flat-fee and quoted after the discovery call. Project and retainer work is scoped and priced once I understand what's actually involved. If you want a number before that conversation, I'm not the right fit ask, and I'll tell you honestly if a smaller engagement makes more sense.
Do I need a consultant or just a DevOps engineer?
If you need someone shipping infrastructure changes every day, hire a DevOps engineer that's a full-time job and a consultant is the wrong tool for it. Consulting makes sense for a specific problem with a start and an end: an architecture review, a migration, a disaster recovery plan you've been putting off. A lot of my clients bring me in to design the system, then their own engineers run it day to day.
Do you work with startups, or only larger companies?
Both, but the engagement looks different. Early-stage teams usually want an audit plus a roadmap they can execute on their own. Later-stage or funded teams tend to bring me in for the harder stuff multi-region failover, compliance-driven DR, deployment pipelines that can't afford to break.
Can I get an AWS account audit without a full consulting engagement?
Yes this is the most common starting point. Most people don't need to commit to anything bigger until they see what the audit turns up.
Do you only work with teams in Delhi NCR?
I'm based in Delhi NCR but most of my client work is remote, across time zones including US and Europe teams. Location only matters if you specifically want in-person sessions, which we can arrange for Delhi NCR-based teams.
Not sure if this is the right fit? Ask anyway.
A fifteen-minute call is usually enough for both of us to know. No proposal, no obligation.
